I started randomgenealogy.net in 2020 to have somewhere to record my researches of those mainly in Kennington St Mary’s churchyard near Ashford. During a long furlough and a beautiful summer, it turned out to be a welcome and totally fascinating distraction to sit there and research those I was amongst.

Then I realised I wasn’t affording my own family the same detailed write-ups, so I duplicated the site to here, where you will now find life stories of the Crook family.

So we hail from Cheltenham, Birmingham in the near term on my maternal side and from Bath, Milton, Sittingbourne, London on my paternal side. It will be good to see all the information I have researched over many years teased out. I’m sure some interesting discoveries will come of it.

If you are related, I would VERY much like to hear from you! Please do leave me some of your stories or comments.
